Delete a conversation. It is gone.

Every conversation can be permanently deleted with one click. No soft hide, no shadow copy for training.

Your chat history should be yours to keep or to remove. Berges AI stores conversations so you can come back to them, encrypted at rest, but the moment you want one gone, it is gone.

Deletion is permanent and it is one action, not a menu dive.

The specifics

How it actually works.

One click, permanent

Delete a conversation and it is removed. It is not hidden from your view while lingering in a table somewhere. When you delete it, it is deleted.

Encrypted while it exists

For as long as you keep a conversation, it is stored as AES-256 ciphertext at rest, along with its title. Keeping history and protecting it are not in tension here.

Never repurposed

While a conversation exists, it is not used to train a model or build a profile. It is there for you to reference, and for nothing else.

Questions

Delete your chat history, in plain terms.

Is deletion permanent?

Yes. Deleting a conversation removes it. It is not a soft hide.

Do you keep a copy after I delete?

Deletion is meant to be permanent removal, not a hidden retention. We do not keep deleted conversations around to train on.

Are my conversations encrypted before I delete them?

Yes. While a conversation exists it is stored as AES-256 ciphertext at rest, and so is its title.
